MediCoop was established in 2015 when it was recognised that there was a dire need for exclusive and unique finance for medical professionals and businesses by a dedicated institution, with a deep understanding and knowledge of the medical industry - very similar to the former successful MLS Bank.
We pride ourselves that we have been working with medical and health professionals for the largest part of our lives. We know and understand the industry, the challenge of trying to maintain the pace of ever-changing technologies, the potential for higher income and yields despite limited time and especially addressing the risks involved.
Our clientele is final year students, community service professionals, new practices, established practices, specialists, medical businesses, suppliers, etc. - anyone involved in the medical industry.

Our latest product add-on is aimed to provide suppliers with Bridging Finance while orders are shipped. We are doing this to demonstrate our commitment to support our suppliers and to ensure an accelerated import of state-of-the-art medical equipment that will raise the bar of medical services on offer to South Africans.
We are dependent on suppliers. To this end, we intend to prioritize our supplier relationships in 2023. We believe that improved supplier relationships will result in an important growth curve in MediCoop’s business development.
