Fritz Lüttich has been involved with MediCoop since inception. Fritz’s expertise on data analysis and tariff models in medical environments, has proved to make a significant contribution to MediCoop’s growth. He is the MD of a market leading medical claims and administration company.
Theuns Botha excelled in private and public partnerships in the health and medical sector in his term as Western Cape Minister of Health. In April 2015, Theuns retired from active politics and resumed his business career in all earnest. Based on his farm in Riversdale, he also operates in the retail, real estate and other sectors.
Tobie Louw is a qualified Industrial Engineer with a Masters in Supply Chain Management and Business Administration. In 2015 he received the Emerging Business Entrepreneur of the Year award from Sanlam and Business Partners.
Lydia Hagedoorn has been involved with MediCoop since 2017 when she took up the pivotal role to implement and maintain the Governance and Financial Structure. She has thirty years of experience in senior management positions.
Bennie Groenewald is a qualified commercial lawyer. Bennie has worked in the banking and financial services industry across multiple segments in South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and the UK. In recent years, Bennie has led investment, credit and risk management teams, and is particularly strong on sound corporate governance.
Bernhard Lüttich has been General Manager of MedSol for the past 6 years, and before that manager of CompSol. He is considered an expert in health and medical administration.
Dr. Tshegofatso Gopane is a family physician with a career in healthcare spanning 18 years. She is the founder and CEO of Tshela Healthcare, a board member of the Health Professionals Council of South Africa, and serves on the National Health Insurance Task Team for the ANC.
Dr. Lekopane Mogaladi, is a dentist and Board Member of the SAMDP. He has 37 years of professional experience in the medical industry as former CEO of the Far East Rand Hospital in Gauteng as well as Gauteng’s Tembisa Provincial Tertiary Hospital.
Dr. Makgala Motlanthe is a general practitioner and executive member of the SAMDP, and their leader of Business Projects. He has played a leading role in development trusts and investment groups.
Gert Steyn is the Managing Director of the SA Veterinary Association (SAVA) and serves on the Momentum Board of Trustees. He has guided various organizations, public entities and government departments through strategic planning.
Jacqueline van Heerden is the Group Financial Manager for CompSol and develops and implements financial strategies for the Group. She has 17 years of experience in executive management, and regularly deals with various stakeholders in the environment of healthcare management.
Dr. Nkhensane Khosa rejoined the Board after a period of absence. Since 2009 he is the Managing Director of Hopewell Med Inc. and serves in several board positions, amongst which is the Professional Provident Society Holdings Trust and deputy president of the Limpopo Independent Practitioners Association.
Dr. Gwen Ramokgopa was South Africa’s deputy Minister of Health in the years 2010 – 2014. Since then, she has served as MEC in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature in different portfolios, amongst which Gender and Women Empowerment and Labour Relations. At present Dr. Ramokgopa serves as a National Minister in the Presidency.
Dr. Kgaogelo Ntshwana specializes in internal medicine and a sub-specialist in gastroenterology and hepatology. Formerly she was an associate-lecturer at Wits Medical School. She is an active member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa.
