Each prospective member must provide proof of membership of one of the following recognised professional bodies or associations:
 

1. Health Professionals Council of South Africa;
2. South African Nursing Council;
3. Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa;
4. South African Medical, Dental, Homeopathic, Physiotherapy and Psychiatrists Associations;
5. Board of Healthcare Funders and the Council for Medical Schemes;
6. South African Institute for Healthcare Managers;
7. Hospital, Day Hospital and Renal Care Associations of South Africa;
8. South African Veterinary Association;
9. South African Medical Association;
10. The Public Health Association of South Africa;
11. The South African Medical Device Industry Association;
12. The Professional Provident Society of South Africa;
13. Medical Network for Southern Africa NPC; and
14. Any further groups approved by the Prudential Authority;

In line with our Constitution and to apply for full membership, a prospective member is required to purchase a minimum of 1,000 shares (R1 per share) and pay a R200 joining fee.
